None of us got here on our own, we each have someone who's encouraged and inspired us- or maybe someone told us we couldn't do something and that spurred us on!
I'm continually inspired by people I meet - fellow health professionals, patients and religious folk. Sometimes I may wish I were more like them, but I have to remember I'm called to serve God as me. Sometimes the most important people in our lives are those who've helped us see we're ok to be ourselves.
Let each one of us make it a practice to please (make happy) his neighbour for his good and for his true welfare, to edify him (to strengthen him and build him up spiritually). (Romans 15:2 AMPC)
