For today's task we had to lie still for five minutes, listening to our breathing. I didn't need much encouragement to chill out after a weekend of working night shifts- I was concerned that five minutes of stillness might have sent me to sleep.
Faith and I lay together in stillness on my bed, and she managed the whole five minutes, then asked if we could do it again! I guess you don't know you like some things until you try them, and Faith would never usually dream of attempting stillness.
When I asked her what she had been thinking about she told me she was remembering the first time she saw Jacob at the hospital, and the orange dress she wore.
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God
